The Swiss Rifle Club was founded in November 1949, so next year we will be celebrating our 75th anniversary, in the 200th year of the Swiss Shooting Federation’s existence.

We plan to hold an anniversary shoot on Saturday, 16 November 2024 at the SA Navy’s Klawer range above Simon’s Town.

We have not yet completed the planning, but it would probably consist of 

• A welcome & registration dinner on Friday 15 November; 
• the Saturday Shooting Match followed by a Get-together with Swiss Bratwurst, Cervelat, Fleischkaese & Broetchen (with some salads thrown in) at the Klawer range after the match; 
• Fruehschoppen Sunday (or free activities according to the majority’s wishes) 

Please alert your members (and their partners) of this event, so that they can start planning and saving for a visit to Cape Town!

As time progresses, we will update you on the plans, and your responses (numbers & names attending). There might even be some competitors from Switzerland.
